.info domains demand a stop to unfair disriminatory treatment!

It was 10:30 at night and raining in Madrid. Because of what I was going through emotionally, what the cats and dogs in Madrid were doing seemed trivial and of little import. You see, I was in California trying to register on a postnuke site. I clicked the magic button and was suddenly stunned and demoralized all at once. Yes, I was looking at the dreaded "Registration Error! _ERRORINVEMAIL" message. Is there no justice? It's tough enough being a .info and having to avoid ridicule by dressing like .com . Come on folks, I thought as a society we had moved beyond this, but just yesterday I was told I could not swim in a pool. Imagine, a .info not being allowed to swim. Fact is I have swam in covered pools before, but I digress and it is far off the point! Last week, same thing. I get on the bus and the words rang in my ear with shrill "Step to the rear, step to the rear". Of course, they say that to everyone these days, but is that really material here? I think not!

Well, then came the coffee shop and the stool at the counter mocking me. The sign said....nevermind...just forget it. I don't even want to get into that.

So, here's the deal. If you want to keep me from going to the NAAIP, I suggest this "oversight" be rectified straight-away.

Okay. I'm off my soap box now.

Excuse me, but who do I see to report a bug?

A little mutant who will die before he grows up

This little mutant among us is doomed to die only about half a year after it is born. The domain name is an abbreviation and stands for "Hanne-Margret Birckenbach Internationale Friedenspolitik". It is a domain solely for a class about "Europe and the terror in the USA", which will end 6 months from now.
I could convince the class to use PostNuke as the underlying system for that particular class - however, you have to imagine a situation where a class about peace is informed that the website will be done with a system called "PostNuke"! :)
So, I guess I will report back (after the class is over and the little mutant is being put to an everlasting sleep in the nirvana of websites) about the experiences the participants have had with PN (with a lot of them being new to the internet!)...
Ciao
Sascha
P.S.: Yippie, another one of the developers has finally a PN site up and running officially! :)

How's about helping out a newbie?

I have some HTML skills, but programming is a whole other matter for me. I was wondering if some of you could help me with some questions I have about postnuke:

*- After looking at about 20 postnuke sites, I noticed that none of them roll articles into a second page (or third otr fourth etc.). Is this at all possible? The site I am planning will be made for people to browse pretty deep and I don't want to have to force them to load 50+ articles on the front page.

*- Is unmoderated article posting an option?

*- As a newbie, can anyone make me aware of potential problems that most newbies face?

*- Can anyone reccommend a good free PHP/MYSQL capable site to run a test drive on? The ones I have tried have been garbage.
