I deleted everything and installed phönix completely new following the instructions from portal)zine.de (equal to the most howtos)
I always got errors like ADONew Connection failed or so.....
I had my whoisit.inc.php as it shoud be
The folders in the parameters had the names:
domain1, sub1.domain1, sub2.domain1
(as told in all how tos)(whoisit should complete ie domain1 to www.domain1.com
the solution was quite simple:
i renamed all folders in the parameters folder to the whole domain name
www.domain1.com
sub1.domain1.com
sub2.domain1.com
and everything worked....
I guess this will help those of you who usually trust tutorials.
