The PostNuke Software Foundation (PNSF) offers two content mangagement system products, PostNuke and OpenStar. Both projects are seperate projects linked through the support of the PNSF. OpenStar is an extension of the PostNuke CMS where new concepts can be tested, some that could be included in the main CMS codebase. While the PostNuke CMS is the main project where third party support is centred, OpenStar is a useful extended distribution and testing ground for new ideas.
