If you now bring some components into modules, to rename a link item it seems to me that I have to rename the module's folder; but with that comes, that I have to search and replace all paths within that module. Am I right or did I miss something?

I completely forgot about this, and I will start adding a variable into the modules. My mistake. I only speak and read English, and not so good at that sometimes. So the language details are sometimes forgotten by me. I remember reading about this on PHP-Nuke, but didn't file it in my long term memory.



Please, if you notice something like this in Post-Nuke, just bring it up. The letter's author also brought up a couple of missed translations in the Post-Nuke theme as well, which will be fixed. See, it's this kind of detail work that will build us all a better website.

As a small contribution I can translate Post-Nuke's Arabic language file. Let me know if you need this done.



I've downloaded .5 and will install it on a site to test and implement.

Thanks for the kind words:) For those of you that need an Arabic file, please note it has been added to the downloads. There is currently no difference between PHP-Nuke language files or Post-Nuke language files. In the .6 release towards the end of this month there will be a change to the time zone towards the end of the file, so you can offset your time. For the time being though, all language files will work.

We have written a file that will aid your installation a tad.



The file will create the db for you. It will allow you to select your prefix, so it makes it much easier when you want to add a second nuke site to the same database.



The install file will even allow you to create your admin login name and password, so you never have the God / Password hanging out there.



Upgrading from PHP-Nuke 4.4? The upgrade file is in there as well.



We have a ton of exciting things planned for the next version. Our immediate changes will allow you to install Post-Nuke and never touch a file. But that is really just the beginning. As we develope the core of Post-Nuke, and seperate the bells and whistles from the vital items, you will be in for a treat with the installation.
